Cookie policy
What Caspira Live stores on a device, and why each item is needed.
Last updated: September 2026
Caspira Live keeps this deliberately small. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell browsing data.
Cookies in the workspace
These apply when someone from your team signs in to the Caspira Live dashboard.
- Session cookie. A signed, http-only cookie issued at sign-in and backed by a server-side session record. It is what keeps a user logged in, and an owner can revoke the underlying session at any time. Strictly necessary — the dashboard cannot work without it.
- Interface preferences. Small values stored in the browser to remember choices such as the last inbox filter. These stay on the device and are not sent anywhere.
The chat widget on our customers' sites
When a business embeds the Caspira Live widget, the visitor's browser stores a small identifier so the conversation survives a page reload and the visitor is recognised if they come back. Without it, every refresh would start a new conversation and the visitor would lose their history.
The business running the site is responsible for telling its visitors that chat is in use and for obtaining any consent required in its jurisdiction. We process that conversation data on their behalf, as described in the privacy policy.
This website
The public Caspira Live marketing pages do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in to the workspace, and clearing the widget identifier will start a fresh conversation the next time you open a chat.
Changes
If we add or remove anything stored on a device, we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
